Melbourne-based cloud migration and related services provider Olikka has been acquired by Accenture for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 2011, Olikka is a specialist firm with expertise in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
Olikka has 50 employees on its payroll, including a robust team of certified professionals with extensive experience in AWS and other cloud platforms. The company is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner. Its Microsoft Azure capabilities are well-known in Australia and New Zealand. “Olikka’s extensive experience with AWS and Azure, coupled with their strong cloud-native capabilities in high demand areas such as application modernization and security, means we can go straight to the heart of our clients’ most pressing challenges and fully deliver value,” said KarthikNarain, global lead for Accenture Cloud First.
With the addition of Olikka, Accenture will reinforce its position as a leading AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud partner in the Australia-New Zealand market. Accenture has made quite a few strategic investments in the Asia-Pacific region this year.
“Joining Accenture is a remarkable opportunity for our team at Olikka to accelerate our growth and continue the journey we started less than 10 years ago,” said Michael Pascoe, managing director of Olikka.
