Snapchat, a multimedia messaging app recently rolled out Spectacles that allows you to see the world with filter effects via 3D feature and yet again, Snapchat has come up with something new. The firm today announced launching 3D Camera Mode which can be accessible to only iPhone X users as of now. The update of the Snapchat app will appear where the feature can be accessed via the camera mode, using the drop-down menu on the right.
You can view but not create the pictures on any Android phones and older phones as well. With the 3D Camera Mode, if you want to create pictures you will be supplied with 3D effects, lenses, and filters and if you wish to store the pictures, you save them into your camera roll to use it anywhere you want to.
It has become a necessity for iPhone X models and its line-up to use 3D features because iPhone X has a front-facing lens.
Snapchat had a bad past with Android. Once it had to redevelop its Snapchat Android app entirely for having bugs and running slow. We will have to wait and watch how Snapchat will extend this feature to Android.
