Google launches Blog Compass app exclusively for Indian bloggers. Google’s offerings like Tez for payments, Neighborly for communities, Areo for food ordering, and others, shows it to be heavily focused on the Indian market recently.
Blog Compass, in beta version, helps Indian bloggers to manage their sites mainly. It also provides them with topics to write about based on Google’s trending topics feature. The suggestions are further streamlined to suit blogger’s interests and posting history.
Blog Compass is also compatible with two of the most popular blogging platforms WordPress and Blogger.com of Google. Blog Compass app software is appropriately designed for an emerging nation like India where many users are coming online via mobile devices, and not through computers.
Keeping in mind the Indian users who are mostly unfamiliar with how the web or blogging works, Google feeds the Blog Compass app and the website with sample teachings and introductory courses on SEO, Analytics, etc.
WordPress and Bloggers mainly focus on utilizing the publishing tools, and the overhead involved in managing the blog and topic research will now be taken care of by the new app. You can track site stats, approve comments, improve blog’s performance with the help of tips, and do a lot more. However, the real hack is to develop your own voice and your passion for writing will connect you to your readers with Google’s help on one side.
