The macOS High Sierra has got an update that will feature bug fixes that were much required for the operating system. Although all eyes are on the macOS Mojave this isn’t the last we see of High Sierra.
The macOS 10.13.6 update addresses the issues that were a major concern to the macOS users. Malicious applications could read restricted memory but with this update, Apple has addressed the issue by providing the patch to fix the issue. Further bug fixes were to deal with AVHCD files being recognized by the Photos app and a bug that prevented the mail users from moving a message from Gmail to another account.
There was just one new major feature introduced in the update, AirPlay2 is now available for multi-room audio support for iTunes. It will improve the stability and security of Mac. Apple in its release notes said, “Play music at the same time on multiple AirPlay 2-enabled speakers in your house, all in sync.” This update is a joy for people using Homepod smart speaker too as they will now be able to use it for stereo sound. Additionally, iPhones and iPads running iOS11.4 or newer can now also control AirPlay 2 devices.
