Vivo which had earlier launched the NEX 3 5G last year in September,is coming up with its successor called the Vivo NEX 3S 5G which is scheduled to be launched on March 10. Vivo had earlier confirmed that its next flagship, Vivo NEX 3S will have a waterfall display. Today Vivo released an official video on Weibo which shows the smartphone will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with the X55 5G modem. It will also support dual-mode 5G networks NSA (Non-Standalone Access) and SA (Standalone Access).
Vivo’s first teaser for the phone focused on the screen showing an unbounded waterfall screen with barely visible bezels at the sides. It may have the same 6.89” Super AMOLED FULL HD+ panel from the NEX 3 5G.
The Vivo NEX 3S 5G will come with 8 GB RAM, triple rear cameras and Android 10. The Camera arrangement is expected to have a 64MP (wide) +13MP (2x zoom)+13MP (ultra-wide)sensors. The front camera will be the same 16MP pop-up arrangement which had earlier seen on Vivo NEX 3. Sadly, the battery capacity has been reduced from 4500mAh to 4200mAh, smaller than the previous generation. It will also have a 44W charging support and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
