Vivo just launched its latest 5G flagship with the Snapdragon 865 SoC and a pop-up camera. It has a beautiful waterfall display of 6.89-inches in full HD which is super AMOLED with HDR10+ support.
It’s nice to see Vivo bringing a Display with pure screen view, shedding all notches, camera cut-outs for the front camera. The front camera is included in the popup module which houses a camera of 16 Megapixels with an f/2.1 aperture. The motorized popup module also has a flash unit which gives the front camera a dedicated flash unit.
The rear camera module has a triple camera setup, having a 64 Megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture with a sensor size of 1/1.72”. The telephoto camera of 13 Megapixels has a 2x optical zoom. The third sensor is the ultra-wide of 13 Megapixels.
Some of the new improvements in the Vivo NEX 3S 5G include a 4500 mAh battery with fast charging of 44W, Bluetooth 5.1, UFS 3.1 storage, under-display fingerprint reader and aluminum frame with glass on the back and front.
The Vivo NEX 3S 5G will be available in black, blue and orange colors. It has been released in only two storage variants, 8GB RAM / 256GB storage for 4,998 RMB or $720. The 12GB/256GB storage variant is priced at 5,298 RMB or $762.It will go on the first sale on March 14 in China. There is no hint for a global launch yet.
