Samsung’s new bean-shaped earbuds have been a center of attraction for the tech enthusiasts for a while now. While most of the people still figuring out how it will fit in, several leaks, including official have dropped in, revealing price, design, and features.
An early update to Samsung’s Galaxy Buds companion app shows how to wear the unique bean-shaped earbuds. The buds will have touch-sensitive control and also an active noise cancellation. Both can be turned on and off via toggle from the companion app. The app clearly shows its name as “Galaxy Buds Live”. A promotional short video from Samsung explaining how to use the buds has also been leaked on twitter.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live will have big 12mm drivers and 3 mics for better noise cancellation and voice quality. Also, it will have deep bass and an AKG-tuned sound profile the users can tweak the sound profile directly from the companion app on the phone. It will be a lightweight 5.6 grams each and have a touch sensor, an accelerometer, a Hall sensor, as well as a proximity sensor.
The Galaxy Buds will provide 4.5 hours of backup with Active noise cancellation while turning it off could boost the runtime even longer.
It will launch with the Samsung Note 20 series on August 5 and will be available in shades of Mystic White, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Black with an expected price of around $169.
