Redmi has launched its latest Note 9 in India. This is the third offering From Redmi in the Note 9 series. The Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max was launched months back in March.
The New Redmi Note 9 includes a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset instead of Snapdragon 720 offered in the Pro and Pro Max models. It has 6.53 inches, IPS LCD Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a “Dot Notch” Display which has a single punch hole camera of 13 MP in the upper left corner of the screen. It can shoot videos up to 1080p @30fps.
It houses the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset which has been advertised as a budget gaming laptop. Built on 12nm process it has an Octa-core (2x2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
The back panel includes the finger-print sensor and a Quad-rear camera. The camera setup includes 48 MP wide + 8MP Ultrawide + 2MP Macro + 2MP Depth sensors.
On the connectivity front, it has a Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and USB Type-C connector, with fast charging support of 18W and 9W reverse charging for accessories like smart bands, smartwatches, etc. It also has a massive 5020mAh battery.
It will be available in three color variants - Forest Green, Midnight Grey, Polar White. The Redmi Note 9 will be available in three storage variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB for Rs. 11,999, 4GB RAM + 128GB for Rs. 13,499 and 6GB RAM + 128GB for Rs. 14,999. It will be available to purchase on the Amazon and MI store with the first flash sale on 24 July, noon.
