Realme already has an entry-level smartwatch in the Indian Market. Now, it is going to launch a new premium one on November 2. The previously launched Realme Watch had a square display with a price tag of Rs. 3,299. The upcoming Realme Watch S will have a circular AMOLED display with a screen size of 1.3-inches. It will pack in all the latest sensors, including the SPO2 (Blood Oxygen Monitor) and Heart Rate sensor.
Realme officially teased the same with few details in a Twitter post. Apart from that, it will also launch a Watch S Pro model later. There is no specific date for the Pro launch yet, but it is expected to come by the end of this year.
The Watch S will feature a 1.3-inch auto-brightness circular display and pack a battery that will bring 15 days of battery backup. It will come with 16 sport modes and sensors that will measure heart rate and blood oxygen level, similar to the recently-launched Apple Watch Series 6.
The watch was teased earlier at the IFA, where Realme had revealed its plans to launch many new products starting with a TV, a smart bulb, smart cam 360, and more. We should find out more about the Realme Watch S as we inch closer to its November 2 launch.
With this launch, Realme will have a broad range of IoT products in India. As people have varied choices, Realme has options ranging from a simple, smart band, a square-shaped smartwatch, and now to a circular shaped smartwatch. The Watch S is likely to be priced closer to Rs 10,000, given its design and a more rounded feature set.
