iQOO just unveiled its latest and cheapest smartphone with the 8nm based Snapdragon720G in China. With a starting price tag of 1,198 Yuan, iQOO U1 is the cheapest phone available with Snapdragon 720G.
It has an IPS LCD panel that offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen has a single punch hole at the top-left corner with an 8MP camera.
It has a triple rear camera arrangement which includes a 48MP wide+ 2MP Macro + 2MP depth sensors. It can record videos up to 4k 30fps with EIS support as well. The Snapdragon 720G is clocked at 2.3GHz. It has LPPDR4x RAM and a UFS 2.1 storage. The battery capacity is of 4500mAh with 18W fast charge support, although it has the quite outdated micro-USB port for charging and data transfer. The iQOO U1 runs Android 10-based iQOO UI and has three storage options. It has a dual sim slot but without a micro-SD card slot.
The 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage starts at 1,198 Yuan, while the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage sells for 1,398 Yuan and the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage available at 1,598 Yuan. It has three color variants: Star Blue, Secret Black, and Sunny Frost White. It is already available for pre-order in China, while the actual sale will start from July 23.
