We’ve been hearing about a mid-range Google Pixel smartphone for over half a year now. Once again, the Russian tech blog Rozetked leaked pictures of the yet-to-be-unveiled Pixel 3 Lite to the world in all its glorious detail.
Google Pixel 3 Lite (code-named “Sargo”) comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack – something that Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL both lacked. Photos of the rumored Pixel 3 Lite reveal that it will have a design akin to the Google Pixel 2 with a glossy frame like it is made out of plastic.
Other specifications include a 5.56-inch in-plane switching display at 2220 x 1080 and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset. It has the Snapdragon 670 chipset, 4GB RAM, 32GB of storage, 12MP rear camera, a 2,915mAh battery, and a single front-facing camera. But if Google manages to get its top-playing camera in Pixel 3 Lite, it might be able to get away with asking for something at or above the One Plus 6T’s retail price of $549.
As per Rozetked, the new Google mobile smartphone will carry a price tag somewhere around $400 to $500 and could be officially launched before the end of the year, or possibly sometime in early 2019.
Having said that, there is one thing that’s confusing in the leaked pictures of the new device, it’s the logo on the back of the device which appears to be a C and not a G. And so, it seems we will have to wait until the actual launch to see if all this is true.
