We all have sensitive information. Commercial and financial activities have moved to the cyberspace. We have call centers spread out globally, websites, mobile apps, etc. that collect our information. This is why the need for data protection is now more than ever. Over the past decade, there’s been a steep incline in a number of thefts, hacks, and data breaches by hacker groups and even government-sponsored organizations. Protecting your product/service information, financial records, personal data, and other data is more than a priority today.
Founded by two security experts—Alex Pezold and Dr. Jerald Dawkins, TokenEx is the right company to combat data theft. With security as a priority, TokenEx also helps organizations with Payment Card Information (PCI) compliance and the costs related to it. This service in fact, started off as just an effective and efficient method to replace payment card data with tokens that are undecipherable.
Today, TokenEx has grown rapidly into a strategic Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for data security. “By integrating four key technologies—tokenization, encryption, data vaulting, and key management—with a highly secure cloud-computing platform, TokenEx has grown rapidly, becoming the choice tokenization vendor for data security,” says the CEO and co-founder, Alex Pezold.
Security is the Key
Since most of the computing takes place in the cloud today, TokenEx offers its service to protect your data in the cloud. The availability of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), etc. for every need like customer support, financial services, manufacturing resource planning, etc. has changed how businesses operate.
“Now TokenEx brings data security as a service (dSaaS) to the cloud,” introduces Alex. What makes TokenEx stand out in the industry is because it provides a cloud platform for data security. By venturing out into a new possibility, Alex and Jerald designed and developed the TokenEx Cloud Security Platform. As security experts, they knew that when it comes to security equations, hardware interfacing with payment cards would be just one part of it.
They came up with a unique and innovative approach. The modern hackers are extremely sophisticated with lots of resources. “The purest solution to avoiding data theft is—not to have any data to steal,” he explains. The duo decided to break down the thick and high firewalls that were installed as data fortresses. Instead, their innovative approach removes and stores the data away from the target business.
Security for the Future
When it comes to security, there is never a case of “one solution works for all organizations”. But with TokenEx Cloud Data Protection Platform, you’re provided with tokenization, encryption, and data vaulting as a unified software as a service. Its seamless integration is so smooth that you won’t even know that it’s working in the background. All sensitive information like personal and financial data is completely removed from the systems, the hackers or their bots will find only streams of tokens but not a single ounce of your data.
This approach solved two persisting problems in payment data. They are:
With almost a decade into providing service, TokenEx promises to ensure that your businesses processes work as you need them to with secure data vaulting, tokenization, and open payment processor integration. Alex and Jerald too, continue to expand the services offered by their company with partnerships and consultations. “With the capability to tokenize any type of data, not just payment card information, your organization need not fear the inevitable attack on your business,” assures Alex.
