Mercedes-Benz is all set to roll out EQS all-electric luxury sedan in 2020. This sedan is with a zero-emission equivalent of the top of the line S-Class, Project head Michael Kelz said EQS is more than just electric S-Class.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS electric sedan has more enhanced features than the 2016 release Mercedes EQ electric vehicle (EV) range and the EQS has MRA architecture which can only assist plugin or hybrid powertrains. Meagre information is available about EQS powertrain and design, Mercedes- Benz has some grand plans of launching three EQ range models by 2020 and apparently 10 by 2022.
Mercedes has trademarked a number of names last year under the EQ brand, including EQ S, which will be the model name for the S-class’ electric counterpart. “It will be a luxury, electric car, a top-of-the-line car,” said Kelz.
