Canon is preparing a crowdfunding campaign for its exciting clippable camera IVY REC. The camera built to capture the best experiences like your hiking trips and outdoor adventures is an eagerly awaited concept.
Although Canon is arriving a bit late to the clippable camera party it is definitely bringing something very fresh to the table. The IVY REC is a camera that is built for all seasons. The camera is sized as big as a USB pen drive which comes with a 13-megapixel sensor and records 1080p at 60FPS.
The camera offers something that smartphones of today lack – no screen to crack while you are out adventuring. The camera is waterproof, shockproof and comes with wireless connectivity which makes it a safer option in comparison to your smartphone outdoors.
IVY REC will come with a CanonMini Cam App which enables a user a live preview on their smartphone. It also allows seamless transfer and sharing of photos & wirelessly.
Canon is now looking to a crowdfunding campaign to get the device off the ground. Currently, there have been no reports on the starting date for the campaign. But those who are interested can sign-up for a pre-order and get the gadget at 30% off.
