After a long wait, Huawei has finally made its Honor Band 6 available in India. The band comes with an AMOLED Full-View (194×368 pixels) color display with a 64 percent screen-to-body ratio and 282ppi pixel density, making it much bigger than a Smartband and comparable to a Smartwatch.
The main highlight of the band continuous heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring alongside sleep and stress readings. It also features workout modes includingcycling, swimming, running, treadmill, and more. Huawei Band 6 is water-resistant for up to 5ATM (up to 50 meters).
It supports Bluetooth 5.0 along with a physical button on the side for navigation. It is compatible with Smartphones running Android 6 or higher and iOS 9 or higher.The Band 6 offers up to two weeks of battery life with standardusage and up to 10 days with heavy usage. It also supports fast charging, and Huwaei claims, users can get two days of battery life with a quick two-minute charge.
As for pricing, the Indian version costs ₹ 4490 Indian rupees,which is equivalent to $60, and will go on sale on July 12 on Amazon. Also, customers buying the Huawei Band 6 between July 12 to July 14 will get a Huawei Mini Bluetooth Speaker worth Rs. 1,990 as a free gift. However, the Honor Band 6 was priced at about $42 in China and $52 in Malaysia, implying the band's cost is the highest in India.
