Columbus State University (CSU) alumni and students have their own networking website now. The name of the networking website is CampusTap which permits students and alumni to connect via a secure forum.
Katie Evans, CSU’s alumni engagement coordinator, said “It’s a great resource for alumni who are interested in mentoring current students. Alumni who are interested in mentoring can sign up, take a personality test and are matched with a current student.”
CampusTap permits users to get relevant career advices, learn about events, and connect with employers and people with similar careers.
According to its Facebook page, Boston-based CampusTap, founded in 2012, “provides private career networking and alumni mentoring communities to help students and recent graduates launch successful careers. With CampusTap, colleges and universities can recruit alumni in meaningful mentor opportunities, easily match them with students and alumni with similar professional interests, and track engagement.”
